HDD not found / HDD information and format it
Please refer to these below to solve the HDD not found issue.
1.If hard drive was preinstalled, there are 4 screws at the bottom of NVR box.
2. Check the power adapter to confirm if it has enough power or not.
Notice : The WiFi NVR (8208,8204,9604,9608,8508,8708) should use 12V 2.5A power supply.
PoE NVR (6708FN,6708KR,6708K)should use 52V2.5A power adapter.
3.Please open the NVR with a screwdriver, check the two cables connecting the hard drive and see if they are loose.
4.Take the hard disk out and install it on your computer. Check if the computer can recognize the hard disk.
Check Hard Drive Information on NVR box and Format it
Right click the mouse>system setup>General setup>HDD setup>select the hard disk>Click Format

The system did not found the harddisk and they restart the system repeatly to find it until we remove the harddisk
the hard didisk working on the system without problem
The cameras working also without problem but we can’t rcording them because of the faiuler of harddisk

?I have same issue…HD stopped being recognized when it got FULL.
But I am able to reformat/partition..etc when I attache to computer…..I have WIPED and brought to NEW state….but still not recognize…. I have installed TEMP smaller hd from another computer and if recognizes just Like prev comment.
WHY would original HD no longer be recognized…fyi..my original had 3TB
I am having the same issues. Perfectly fine HDDs will most recognize on these NVRs and I bought a new NVR in case but it did the same thing…. what can we do here since I have a whole system setup and the HDD wont work….
Good afternoon! I have been using your NVR device model K8204-W for four years now. Recently, the power supply failed and I replaced it. Since the reason could not be immediately established, initially, I replaced the hard drive, which did not lead to an effect. Now, I need an access code for the administrator to configure it. Unfortunately, the previously installed code does not work. I ask for your help and assistance in solving this issue and sending the code to me!
